Our projects are grounded in self-determination, cultural safety, and collaboration — working with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), government, and service partners to deliver practical solutions that reflect community priorities.
This project brings together Loddon Mallee Aboriginal Reference Group members, local ACCOs, and emergency management agencies to improve how emergencies are planned for, responded to, and recovered from in Aboriginal communities.
This initiative improves oral health outcomes for Aboriginal children by increasing access to fluoride varnish applications in community and school settings. This effort resulted in a change to Victorian legislation, enabling Aboriginal Health Practitioners to obtain, possess, and apply fluoride varnish within ACCOs.
